3C Test Ltd –Approval for Full Ford Specifications

3C Test Ltd is an established approved EMC Test facility.  Following substantial reinvestment in new and upgraded facilities the Company has now been cleared by Ford Motor Company to test to the new Ford Engineering ES-XW7T-1A278-AC specification with no exceptions.

Only three Test Houses throughout Europe have been cleared to test to the specification without exception and so  this is a major accomplishment for the Buckinghamshire based company. 3C Test continue to expand and now possess some of the best EMC facilities in the U.K.

Preparing for Automotive Emissions Testing.

There are several significant differences between ES-XW7T-1A278-AC and its predecessor the well  known ES-XW7T-1A278-AB. The requirements of the new ‘AC’ Standard have been developed to assure compliance of the Ford range with national and international requirements. In addition, it helps to ensure  customer satisfaction regarding the EMC of vehicle Electrical/Electronic systems.

Suppliers testing to the requirements of the AB and AC Standards can depend on the  knowledgeable and experienced engineers at 3C Test to provide technical help and advice on any aspects of the Standard variations.
