UK Automotive Industry gets first dedicated electronics magazine

MT Publications Ltd announces the new launch of Automotive Electronics magazine (AE). Brought to you by the publishers of Micro Technology Europe magazine (MTE), AE will be published bi-monthly from February 2005, and circulated free of charge to named design engineers and technical management working in all of the major vehicle manufacturers, OEMs, and R&D establishments. The editorial mix will include up-to-date industry news, expert views, technology features, and new product information covering both hardware and software applications.

An ever-increasing range of leading-edge technologies emerging into the automotive market makes this one of the most exciting and dynamic manufacturing sectors in the world.  The amount of electronics currently being designed into the modern car has grown tremendously over the years with global industry analysts estimating that by 2010 it will rise to a massive 40%.

According to David Williams, the magazine’s publisher: “Automotive Electronics is being launched to meet a growing demand for a magazine dedicated to this sector. We believe AE will become indispensable reading for all those involved in deciding the content of vehicle electronic systems, by delivering the essential information engineers and technical management need to improve their design and development strategies”.
