EMC Services is running thier EMC Technical Documentation course on the 15
January 2008. As well as continuing to provide all the essential information for
those currently needing to use Technical Construction Files (TCF), this course
will prepare those in engineering management, approvals engineers and quality
managers for forthcoming changes to legislation.

Innovative
Braking 2008
The
4th Annual Congress is being held in Frankfurt between 1st and 4th April, 2008
at Steigenberger Airport Hotel, Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
The basic challenges for innovative braking systems are to shorten the
braking distance and to improve long-time high durability. Nowadays intelligent
new developments are necessary as the brake is integrated in the chassis control
system. Lots of innovations are on their way due to new material developments
and more complex electronic systems.

IEC
61326-2-2 Ed. 10 -Corrigendum
The
International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) has issued a Corrigendum
pertaining to IEC 61326-2-2 Ed. 1.0 (2007-11). Corrigendum 1 affects
“electrical equipment for measurement, control and laboratory use – EMC
requirements – Part 2.2: Particular requirements – Test configurations,
operational conditions, and performance criteria for portable test, measuring,
and monitoring equipment used in low-voltage distribution systems.”
Generic
Automotive EMC Standard
The
AutoEMC Networks’ own Generic Automotive EMC Standard is now easier to access
via the standards page after some problem of location issues from our visiting
public. Apologies for not making it
easier to find, this was purely accidental and we were somewhat surprised by the
interest.

we have suffered more SPAM as the year progressed despite our efforts last
Christmas. Again we have upped the
anti-SPAM software and early results suggest it is catching 99% of real SPAM,
