Littleton, MA- The Boston office of Intertek ETL Entela has received AEMCLAP (Automotive EMC Laboratory Recognition Program) Accreditation through A2LA (American Association for Laboratory Accreditation). The facility is the only lab in New England to receive AEMCLAP accreditation.

The scope of accreditation covers 4 types of tests:

- BCI (Bulk Current Injection)

- ESD (Electro Static Discharge)

- CISPR 25 (Radiated Emissions)

- Radiated Immunity(Anechoic Method)

The A2LA AEMCLRP Review Committee is made up of representatives from DaimlerChrysler, Ford and General Motors. The intent of the program is to establish common criteria for the evaluation of the competency of automotive EMC laboratories by third party accreditation bodies. This accreditation allows Intertek ETL Entela to provide AEMCLAP approved testing services to automotive OEMs and suppliers.

The Boston facility has also received recognition from Ford Motor Company and General Motors, in accordance with their respective requirements.
